The Georgia Standards of Excellence make up the framework for your child's education. Each subject taught in school is supported by specific standards that need to be met each year to prepare your child for college or the workplace. The Georgia Board of Education has created a website for parents and teachers to provide information that will support and enhance the teaching and learning of the Georgia Standards. It allows parents easy access to information regarding the state's academic standards. However, to make this more easily accessible, GES Title I has provided quick links to help you find the information most relevant to your child and what they are learning in school.
